Simon Jones, co-founder and director Diligence Services International. Simon has deep operational experience having consulted internationally to industrial firms for 25 years in all forms of operational improvement. He has operated as Director of Manufacturing for the European operations of a major US industrial group and as an interim Director for a leading European software firm during a significant transition period.
He is experienced in a wide range of industrial markets including Aerospace, General Industrial, Marine, Automotive, Defence, Paper & Printing and Specialty Chemicals.
Simon holds a first class honours degree in Engineering and Business from Nottingham Trent Polytechnic and is a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Ian Hackett, co-founder and director Diligence Services International. Ian had 12 years of financial management experience in corporate life, culminating in group financial controller of an acquisitive mid-cap plc, plus 4 years as acquisitions manager/subsidiary company managing director.
Built on this background, Ian has 17 years of business performance improvement consultancy experience. Now focussed on operations due diligence and related activity, areas of expertise include acquisitions, financial analysis and scenario modelling, operational restructuring and performance improvement, business planning, and change management.
His sector experience is broad and includes general industrial, aerospace & defence, power, water, food & drink, distribution and construction.
Ian is a Chartered Management Accountant and Certified Management Consultant.
